ANNOUNCED / IMPROVISED MUSIC CONCERTS
Waters Adrift
Improvised Music Concerts
This evening of improvised music is shaped by temporary formations, unstable textures and musical languages that meet without settling into fixed forms. Working between acoustic experimentation, electronics, composition and free improvisation, the participating artists follow distinct currents while remaining part of a shared field of listening.
Sounds surface, overlap and dissolve; textures gather and disperse. Like bodies of water carried by shifting currents, the musicians move between individual expression and a continuously transforming shared field.
Adventurous Music Plateaux (AMP) is a European platform dedicated to presenting adventurous music and fostering collaboration among artists working across jazz, improvisation and electronic music. Taking place throughout 2025 and 2026, the project comprises sixteen multi-day editions combining workshops, lectures and improvised music performances. Through the use of 360° VR video and Dolby Atmos sound, AMP also develops new possibilities for documenting, sharing and experiencing live music across geographical boundaries.
The project Adventurous Music Plateaux – a hybrid model of inclusive participation, learning, and music export development through the use of digital tools and recordings (360 VR) (101174530 — AMP — CREA-CULT-2024-COOP) is co-funded by the European Union and brings together seven partner organisations from Poland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Iceland and Austria.
