Amar Priganica

Amar Priganica is a Vienna-based composer, guitarist and organist. Drawing on sacred musical idioms and the systematic layering of sonic material, his work creates dense textures, harmonic shifts and psychoacoustic effects that oscillate between intimacy and abundance. As part of his doctoral research at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, Priganica investigates the invasive and transformative potential of sound across a field extending from sono-liturgical structures to contemporary electroacoustic music. He composes solo and ensemble works as well as music for theatre and film.
