Dark, haunting, and intense, emme combines detailed sound design with heavy dance music and harsh vocals to create performances that commands the audience’s attention. Immersed in a theater environment from an early age, her shows touch on every aspect of live performance, transforming the venue into her own private world with lighting, costuming, and choreography all designed by her.“Heaven Help Me” is emme’s solo opera complete with a libretto that explores the aftermath of an abusive relationship, with a post-suicidal premise that digs into the emotional spirit of the performer. Written to be performed at underground venues such as raves, bars, and basements, “Heaven Help Me” is emme’s first major solo work and will be followed by an album of the same name, to be released in 2023.
