Aaron Josi Sternbauer

Aaron Josi Sternbauer (they/them/no pronouns) is a Vienna-based transdisciplinary artist and performer. Their practice moves across body, voice, dance, music, intimacy and flamboyant ecstasy and is deeply rooted in care and queerness. Using sensing as a radical tool, Sternbauer creates multidisciplinary installations and resonant spaces that invite audiences to reconnect with their own perception. Their work spans institutional and subcultural contexts, queer opera, contemporary performance, club culture and off-spaces.
