Vienna-based producer Dino Spiluttini approaches contemporary electronic music with deliberate and delicate emotional dynamics. His work often reveals an anxious or somber longing for fulfillment and recovery from fraught bodily experiences, frustrated identity, or worldly discomfort. Since the 2019 release of „Heaven“ on Editions Mego, which explored death, reunion, and bodily perfection, Spiluttini has focused on a more lush and measured approach, tending toward trance euphoria. Employing virtual instruments and a small modular system, his largely beatless music nowadays combines the aesthetics of computer music and R&B acapellas with increasingly meticulous production.
