Ghanaian/French producer and vocalist PÖ released her debut album „Cociage“ under the label Hakuna Kulala (sister label of Nyege Nyege) in 2023. With one foot in electronic dance music and the other in radical sound and voice experiments, she unfolds a vast and versatile artistic universe.

Her live appearances are a vessel of raw emotions filled with her voice and electronic soundscapes that mutate it in a multitude of directions, from hard-edged noise rap and industrial beats to West African folk passages, ambient and post-punk music.

She intertwines the colors of dancehall and heavy Brazilian funk with high speed caribbean madness and footwork, occasionally giving moments of relief before diving right back into some raging kuduro.

Breaking up rhythms, switching up paces, her sets are a trove of discoveries and unexpected connections in high intensity energy. PÖ has turned up the heat at major international festivals like Nyege Nyege, Fusion, We Love Green, Roskilde, Peacock Society, Primavera Sounds and Montreux Jazz Festival.
