Raphael Rogiński is a singular figure at the crossroads of musicology, ethnology and avant-garde guitar performance. Deeply rooted in Jewish and Middle Eastern music traditions, his incomparable style of guitar playing style blends blues, jazz and the music of various diasporas into a powerful and expressive form. 

His cult following was awakened this year by the reissue of his 2015 album „Raphael Rogiński plays John Coltrane and Langston Hughes”“, which can be described as “Rogiński’s masterpiece” according to Pitchfork Magazine.
