Mit düsteren Ausflügen in Klangsphären zwischen tanzbarer und experimenteller elektronischer Musik sind die Sets von BYDL stets neuartig. Der Künstler mischt dabei auf unorthodoxe Weise Tracks aus verschiedenen Epochen der Computermusik und garniert das Ganze mit Vocal Samples aus Film, Funk und Fernsehen, ohne sich dabei zu ernst zu nehmen. So entsteht eine Symbiose, die von der Interaktion zwischen Künstler und Publikum lebt. Trotz der Leichtfüßigkeit seines musikalischen Auftretens sind die Performances von BYDL immer auch politisch. Mal offensichtlich, mal subtil – but always antifascist.

With dark excursions into sound spheres between danceable and experimental electronic music, the sets of BYDL are always new and special. The artist mixes tracks from different epochs of music in an unorthodox way and garnishes the whole thing with vocal samples from film, radio and television without taking himself too seriously. The result is a symbiosis that lives from the interaction between artist and audience. Despite the light-footedness of his musical appearance, the performances of BYDL are always political. Sometimes obvious, sometimes subtle – but always antifascist.
